It’s not every day that I get hit with a sense of déjà vu. You know, that weird feeling you get when you know you’ve been through the exact same experience before, just at some other place or time. But I got that feeling on Sept. 12 in Baltimore at Symantec‘s annual partner conference — Partner Engage 2012 — when SHI was recognized with a Partner of the Year Award for the second year in a row.

SHI was recognized for our dedication to selling Symantec’s solutions, as well as our overall performance in revenue, deal registration, technical and marketing investments, certifications, and specializations. For fiscal year 2012, SHI secured $227 million in Symantec sales, which represented 34 percent year-over-year growth and 100 percent growth over the past two years. Symantec is one of SHI’s oldest and most-successful partners. This award recognizes the growing impact SHI is making in the technology industry as we deliver powerful solutions to our global customers and support the growth of leading technology companies. Check out all the details of the announcement in the press release we put on the wire yesterday.

And be sure to keep an eye out next year for a blog post titled “Third time’s a charm.” At least, here’s hoping!
