On September 16, 2022, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released guidance on the $1B State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP). Applications from state governments and territories require 80% of funds to be used to support local entities. States are required to establish a cybersecurity planning committee and develop a cybersecurity plan, addressing 16 elements cited in the IIJA.

SHI’s Security Posture Review (SPR) process is aligned to the IIJA cybersecurity plan requirements necessary to be eligible for the SLCGP.

Our SPR is a free assessment that unlocks visibility across your entire security landscape and is the first step in addressing requirements for IIJA and SLCGP. With SHI’s SPR, you will:

  • Identify key threats and concerns
  • Show gaps, overlap, and consolidation opportunities
  • Provide security architecture mapping
  • Visualize solution implementation maturity
  • Set short- and long-term goals
  • Address requirements of the IIJA and SLCGP
