Putting a bow on Cloud Expo

We wrapped up our participation in the 10th International Cloud Expo in New York last week, and we’ve got a lot to share about it. First, we were featured in a story in SearchCloudProvider that discusses the emerging opportunity of big data cloud analytics in the midmarket.

Henry Fastert, our Chief Technologist, expressed his opinion to reporter Jessica Scarpati for her story, “Service providers anticipate SMB demand for big-data cloud analytics.” But Henry’s opinion isn’t the only one in the spotlight on SearchCloudProvider. He was in the company of other industry leaders, and Scarpati will be following the story up with a part two. Stay tuned.

Second, we got a visit from TMCnet at the SHI booth inside the expo. Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMCnet, chatted with Henry about our IaaS cloud solutions. Watch the full video to hear Henry’s in-depth explanation for why IaaS is one of the most important cloud platforms for us.

Finally, we’ve got something just for fun. We tried to document as much of our activity at the show as we could, and where better to share with our friends than on Facebook?

THREE’S COMPANY: Henry Fastert, Rich Place, and Sal Bruno share a laugh before taking the stage at Cloud Expo

And with that, we can officially wrap up and put a bow on our Cloud Expo 2012 experience!
