SHI’s Fall Executive Forum – Everything you need to know about Day 1
Get ready for November 3, when we take a deep dive into hybrid infrastructure. Are you registered?

Mark your calendars. On November 3, we kick off the first day of our Fall Executive Forum, where we’ll discuss today’s top tech trends and game-changing innovations – and what it all means to organizations just like yours.
We’ll be bringing together our own subject matter experts, as well as our strategic partners – including Dell, Intel, VMware, and others – to share the latest insights on how to leverage technology to adapt to today’s unpredictable business climate, and how to become more agile and competitive.
The Fall Executive Forum is scheduled as follows:
- November 3 – Building business resiliency and agility with hybrid infrastructure.
- November 10 – Supporting your hybrid workers with effective end user computing solutions.
- November 17 – Take a hybrid approach to securing your network at the core and the edge.
Day 1 kicks off with exciting agenda of presentations designed to help organizations just like yours build business resiliency and agility with hybrid infrastructure – and registration is now open. Here’s a quick look at the agenda for opening day, as well as details on our keynote presentations:
Build a more consistent infrastructure and operations capability
For a hybrid infrastructure strategy to be most effective, it must offer a combination of private and public clouds that share consistent infrastructure — that is, a platform that enables IT teams to deploy applications seamlessly across public and private clouds — and provide consistent operations between all centers of compute and data.
Michelle Hope, Lead Research Analyst, Hybrid Cloud with Stratascale, an SHI Company, and Clinton Davenport, Corporate Solutions Engineer with SHI, will explain how building a more consistent IT infrastructure and operations is the key to unlocking the full power of hybrid/multi-cloud and enabling seamless application deployment and increased business agility.
Rethink networking to support a modern infrastructure
The health and scalability of network infrastructure increases application performance and delivers a high-quality user experience, resulting in increased business productivity, agility, and reduced costs for IT. But for many IT Infrastructure and Operations leaders, implementing SD-WAN, microsegmentation, SASE, and advanced wireless capabilities in their business isn’t as simple as it should be.
Aaron Pilcher, Director, Solutions with SHI’s Advanced Solutions Group and LinWood Walker, Senior Network Architect at Stratascale, will discuss how you can evaluate if your network can support next generation applications and securely leverage edge, IoT, and advanced analytics to support your growing organization.
Improve the employee and customer experience with edge computing
The promise of edge computing delivers better employee and customer experience by placing compute infrastructure closer to users. This is the key to unlocking the business value promise of IoT, real-time analytics and improved employee and customer experience.
David Olszewski, Senior Technical Advisor, Hybrid Cloud with Stratascale, and Robert Illing, Stratascale’s Head of Technical Advisory, will discuss the key business benefits of edge computing, components of edge architecture, and use cases across industries.
Tracing the evolution of multi-cloud technology
Modern infrastructure platforms must be able to provision quickly, scale on demand, and allow the option to pay as you go across your entire multi-cloud, multi-edge and multi-data center environment
Our special guest from Dell Technologies, Dan Mroz will share his perspective on the trends and challenges impacting your digital transformation journey and how successful organizations are overcoming them.
Throughout the day we’ll also be hearing from top SHI customers and use cases of how they have transformed – and learn how you can prepare for whatever the future may bring.
We’ve got great things planned for the second and third days of our Fall Executive Forum, as well:
Wednesday, November 10, 2021 – Supporting your hybrid workers with effective end user computing solutions
We’ll cover best practices and innovative approaches to provision end user computing, create an effective collaboration platform strategy, and empower workers to deliver great results.
Wednesday, November 17, 2021 – Take a hybrid approach to securing your network at the core and the edge
We’ll learn how to take a pragmatic approach to securing the hybrid workforce, how to protect the enterprise from new threats, and examine why Zero Trust needs to be part of your security strategy.
